DAV is a nonprofit that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families.
Every year, we help more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways by helping them access benefits they earned, like health care, education and disability, and connecting them to meaningful employment opportunities. DAV is the nation’s most resourceful veterans service organization, keeping the promise to support America’s veterans.

The DAV Veterans Pulse Survey
While veterans of all generations have a very positive view of their military service, only one-in-five feel the government treats veterans well and less than half believe they receive the benefits and support they were promised. These are some of the major findings of a landmark survey by DAV.
Women Veterans – the Journey Ahead
This publication comes as a follow up to DAV’s 2014 landmark report Women Veterans: The Long Journey Home, which focused on the challenges women encounter transitioning from military to civilian life and helped usher in numerous policy and legislative changes to improve programs and services for women veterans.
